My name is Jason Helkenn Equipment & Technology Sales Specialist with Patterson Dental. For the past 15+ years, I’ve worked with doctors throughout Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Illinois building many strong relationships. I’m driven by the opportunity to help doctors grow their practice thru Dental Office Design, Equipment, Technology, and Marketing.
My name is Brandt Eischen and I am a Commercial Loan Officer at the Midwest Heritage Bank. As a Dental Connection advisor for financial and lending, I bring over 8 years of experience to medical professionals, commercial real estate investors, manufacturers, farmers, and many other types of businesses. Graduating in 2003 from the University of Northern Iowa where I majored in Finance and a minor in Economics, I now reside in Des Moines with my wife and three daughters. Coaching youth soccer, family activities, hunting, and golfing are all activities that I enjoy with family and friends.

She is on the board of the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, Fort Dodge Noon Rotary President, SSMID Executive Board, North Central Iowa SBDC Board, Workforce Development and ABI LI Board of Governors. Cheryl’s community involvement in spearheading projects has put Fort Dodge on the map as an Iowa Great Place, Market on Central as a downtown event and most recently the Main Street Iowa designation. Her diverse experience is what sets her apart and gets client’s results. Owner of Spin Markket operating in Fort Dodge, she resides in Barnum with her husband Tom of O'Hern Farms and Trucking.
My name is Brett Drea and I work for Patterson Dental. I live in Ankeny with my wife Nichole. We have four kids, Brennan, Kaylee, Makenna, and Brayden. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids doing activities with them. Much of my time is spent enjoying the outdoors on the family farm in western Iowa.
During my 20 years in the Dental Field, I have held a number of positions that allow me to offer a unique perspective on a wide variety of subjects relating to dental. Times are changing and it is vital that Dentists at any point in their career have access to the most current solutions. I'm grateful that Henry Schein continues to invest heavily in resources that help with the challenges we are facing.

Paul Donnelly is a native of Iowa and grew up in an entrepreneurial family exposed to the attraction of accounting from an early age. A 1989 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa he successfully passed the CPA exam and began his career in public accounting
After several years in public accounting, he transitioned to private accounting before re-entering public accounting as a Partner with Short & Company, CPA PLC in 2007. On October 1, 2018, Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C. (HK), a Top 100 CPA and business consulting firm in the U.S., acquired greater Des Moines area firm, Short & Company, CPA, P.L.C.
Paul is now the CFO with Dental Associates, P.C. located in West Des Moines.
Donnelly has servied clients throughout the Midwest with a strong emphasis in the dental community. He understands the industry and works with single doctor practices as well large multi-doctor - multi-location practices.
Hands on experience with dental practices include a skill set of accounting systems establishment and review, internal control systems, performance benchmarking, cash flow and tax planning and succession planning including practice analysis and valuation.
Donnelly recommends that each practice owner have a close relationship with his or her accountant and that accountant should be industry specific.
Jeremy grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated from Hoover High School in 2000. After high school, he enlisted in the Iowa Army National Guard and was deployed to Kosovo in 2003. Following his deployment, he attended night classes at Upper Iowa University while working full time for a local Coca-Cola bottling company. Jeremy served in the Army for eight years and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 2011.
Jeremy graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Finance in 2009 from Upper Iowa University and went on to complete his legal education at Drake University Law School. While at Drake Law School, Jeremy co-founded the Drake Business Law Society and helped provide student support for a newly created Business Law Certificate.
While in law school the idea of starting a law firm was firmly planted and immediately upon graduation Jeremy co-founded the law firm that is now MB Law. Jeremy’s various life experiences and personal business knowledge make him uniquely qualified to assist business owners as they transition in and out of the many phases of their life.
In 2020, MB Law was acquired by Ahlers & Cooney, P.C. located in Des Moines.

Dr. Greg Gilbaugh
Dr. Greg Gilbaugh has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and currently provides oversight and vision for two large dental facilities, The Family Dental Center and The Children's Dental Center.
A graduate of the University of Iowa School of Dentistry in 1985 and Advanced General Dentistry residency in 1986.
He also serves as a Senior Vice President of New Life Leadership providing leadership development and coaching for healthcare professionals. Greg also serves on the pastoral team at Grace Community Church where his primary focus is in the development of men in the areas of marriage, parenting, work, and life vision and mission.
Greg lives in Coralville, Iowa, with his wife Laura and they are the delighted parents of nine children.

Brandon got his career start working in business development with the Pella Corporation. He transitioned into the medical device space in 2005 with Stryker Corporation, where he led sales operations for capital equipment and disposables across multiple surgical specialties. He has also held leadership and development roles at several other healthcare companies, including UnityPoint Health, Medtronic, and Globus Medical.
In 2014, Brandon decided to branch out and begin investing in real estate. He was also a multi-unit owner of a health and wellness franchise, Profile by Sanford.
He enjoys seeing other people succeed and win, and wants to be a part of his clients’ journey towards success. He believes in paying it forward, having sat on medical advisory boards, and currently works with LifeServe Blood Center, and is active USSSA Baseball and Waukee Youth Football Coach.
A native of Coulter, Iowa, he was a collegiate athlete from Simpson College, where he graduated with a degree in corporate communication and business management. He currently resides in Waukee with his wife, a cardiology nurse practitioner, and their three kids.
